Dr. Hausen strives to make his patients feel better by relieving their pain and improving their daily lives.
By way of his extensive skill, experience, and strong ethics, Dr. Hausen aims to establish a trusting relationship with each patient, offering clear diagnostic information and all treatment options so that the patient is an important part of the treatment and healing process.
Dr. Hausen provides house call for senior citizens having difficulty coming to the office. Services range from palliative care of corns, calluses, ingrown toenails and fungal toenails, to treatment of foot ulcers.
Dr. Hausen has been in private practice since 1993. Dr. Hausen attended Brandeis University as an undergraduate, and completed his medical studies at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed residencies in Foot Surgery from Medical College Hospitals, Elkins Park Campus in Pennsylvania and in Foot Orthopedics from the Montrose Veterans Administration Center in New York.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Hausen is on active staff at Montefiore Medical Center, Sound Shore Medical Center, and Gramercy Surgical Center.
Dr. Hausen is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
